Summer may be behind us, but “trade show season” is revving back up, and you know what that means – a whole lot of helpful learning, inspiring networking and useful swag! However, it can also mean feeling overwhelmed…

No need to stress! With a little proactive planning, you can turn a chaotic convention centre into a goldmine of great connections and new ideas.

Here are our top five tips to make the most out of your time:

  1. Go in with a game plan by plotting out your must-see booths ahead of time (hint hint – we can’t wait to see you!). Most shows provide a map on their website or conference app. Use it!
  2. Don’t just collect business cards or gamification codes – make a connection. We’re always ready to chat, so stop by anytime!
  3. Visit the fun booths (like ours!). Trade shows aren’t just for connecting; they’re also great for discovering partners who really get it.
  4. Use your breaks wisely. Grab a coffee and recharge with some movement by taking a wander through the exhibits. And spark up a conversation while you’re at it!
  5. Practice your pitch. That’s right – exhibitors aren’t the only ones who prep for these events beforehand. Have a quick intro ready: who you are, what you do, and what you’re looking for.
