(L-R) Event Administrator Sara Van Walleghem and Vice President, Service Courtney Bérubé with Carla Borecky and Marnie Penner from Morrow Avenue Daycare out for lunch at Harth Mozza and Wine Bar in Winnipeg. Through this initiative we also treated Winnipeg-based Birchwood Automotive and the College of Registered Nurses Manitoba, as well as Ontario-based Hunter Express.

Payworks' service team decided to Pay it Forward and to express our appreciation for several Payworks clients during the busy year-end season. Beginning in early December, we hosted a series of “thank you” client events to start off the year-end season on the right foot.

The payroll contacts at several clients in Winnipeg and Toronto were invited out for lunch with their CSR or sales representative and a member of the leadership team, and they were pleasantly surprised when a limo came to pick them up so they could arrive in style!

At the restaurant, the clients were gifted with a basket of goodies chosen specifically so they could “treat” themselves (gift certificates to the spa, chocolates, lotions, etc.). They expressed appreciation for the opportunity to meet with their Payworks representatives in person.

“On behalf of the Birchwood’s payroll team of Jaelene, Annabella, Signy, Eric and myself, we appreciate Payworks taking the time and making the effort in treating us including lunch at Harth – the food was excellent. Your payroll experience, industry foresight, and being proactive has assisted us immeasurably. We look forward to our continued relationship as we both become more familiar with the software and each other,” wrote Stefan Duplak, Manager, Accounting Services at Birchwood Automotive Group, which was our first client lunch event of the season.

Seeing is believing!
