When Cheryl Reid, a Chartered Professional Accountant from Manitoba, started referring her clients to Payworks through the Full Circle Rewards Program, she never imagined she’d be packing her bags for an all-expenses-paid trip to Ottawa. The prize: a visit to CPA Canada’s The ONE National Conference, plus a weekend getaway to explore Canada’s capital.
By day, Cheryl attended the conference – networking with other accounting professionals from across the country and taking in the conference’s expert sessions. By night, she was out and about exploring Ottawa’s vibrant food scene!
“We haven’t been to the CPA Conference in years, so it was really neat to see what’s surfacing in the accounting world”, said Cheryl. “We had also never been to Ottawa, so being downtown in the centre of a bustling community was incredible. There were so many good restaurants and wonderful places to eat.”
According to Cheryl, one of the highlights of the trip was attending the Hans Zimmer concert. “With a live orchestra, choir and video graphics combined, the experience was like no other.”
Along with her two business partners, Cheryl owns Winnipeg-based Reid & Miller Chartered Professional Accountants Inc. Together, they bring their clients the benefit of over 60 years of experience in public practice.
