Watch: the first place Plane Pull Team

Ok, so Payworks United Way Plane Pull Team didn't exactly come in first place. There were no titles won for pulling an 80,000-pound plane the fastest, but for the fourth consecutive year our amazing staff did take home the title of top fundraising team.

Plane Pull is a fundraising initiative for United Way Winnipeg. Teams of 20 individuals literally pull together in an attempt to see who can move a large plane the fastest as well as to raise money for local United Way agencies. In 2018, the Payworks Plane Pull Team raised more than $10,800 for Winnipeg youth to access positive, productive and supervised activities through United Way funded agencies. Two members of the Payworks team were also designated in the top five fundraising efforts.

United Way Plane Pull is an important initiative during the city-wide fundraising campaign and it's also - quite literally - tons of fun. See for yourself by watching this Payworks video:
