Growing connections: our Spring 2026 tradeshow lineup
Whether you’re in charge of paying one employee or thousands, choosing the right payroll partner can make all the difference between smooth operations and administrative overload.
And what better way to find the right partner than by making a face-to-face connection? Over the coming months, you’ll have the chance to get to know our very own crew of payroll experts at tradeshows and conferences all across Canada! In 2025, we were thrilled to meet so many business owners, payroll pros, and accounting wizards from coast to coast. And by attending more than 30 shows last year alone, we picked up a few tips for you along the way. Here are three ways to make the most out of your tradeshow experience:
- Come prepared with questions. Knowing what you’re looking for will help get you the answers you need. “Can your payroll system handle multi‑province employees?” “What integrations do you support for accounting and HR?” “How do you help small businesses stay compliant with changing payroll regulations?”
- Connect with us ahead of time and schedule your demo at a time that won’t interfere with the conference’s can’t-miss sessions. Or drop by our booth (no RSVP required) to chat with one of our knowledgeable Payworks reps whenever works best for you!
3. Take notes on the spot. There’s so much to take in during a conference that it can become overwhelming. From learning to networking, the conversations start to run together fast! Take note of the company name, the person you spoke to and the topics you discussed. And speaking of take-home material: ask for digital brochures or scan a QR code. This saves you from carrying around paper all day (and Mother Earth will thank you).
As you head into your next conference, remember that the real value isn’t just in the sessions you attend or the booths you visit; it’s in the connections you build, the ideas you spark, and the actions you take afterward. With a bit of preparation, an open mindset, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone, any tradeshow can become a catalyst for fresh opportunities and long-term growth. Show up with purpose, stay curious, and you’ll walk away with insights and relationships that last far beyond the expo floor.
