Payworks' 5th Annual President’s Circle trip took place June 10-12 at beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake with a total of 47 staff members in attendance. This year’s festivities kicked off June 10 with lunch at Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery, where attendees not only enjoyed the Great One’s wine but also his signature whiskey. That evening was spent at Bacchus Lounge and Terrace for supper followed by a Ghost Tour of Fort George.
Other activities over the next three days included a round of golf at Whirlpool Golf Course, touring local wineries, visiting the 10 Below Ice Wine Lounge at Peller Estates and taking part in the annual fireside chat with Payworks co-founder and CEO Barb Gamey and President JP Perron, exploring Niagara Falls, and a jetboat adventure on the water.
The trip wrapped up with the main event - the President’s Circle Awards Gala Dinner on June 12 at the Chateau des Charmes in an outdoor tent among the vineyards. 
And the winners are...
- Rookie of the Year (sales award) was awarded to Toronto’s Josh Gault, for excellence in his first year of selling with Payworks.
- Top Performer for Small Business (sales award) was awarded to Winnipeg’s Patrick Daniels.
- Top Performer for Corporate (sales award) was awarded to Calgary’s Dave Nolan.
- Values Excellence was given to Dee dela Cruz.
- Sales Excellence was given to Kiran Nagra.
- Leadership Excellence was awarded to Trina Huntley.
- The President’s Choice Award was bestowed upon Darryl Neufeld.
Niagara-on-the-Lake was the 5th Annual President’s Circle trip and six individuals have achieved each President’s Circle trip destination. As a special way to recognize these consistent achievers, a 5-Year-Tour t-shirt was designed and given out during the Gala. The recipients were: Brad McCombs, Glenda Plews, Jeff Zielinski, Kiran Nagra, Craig Soontiens, and Push Sidhu.
The location for President’s Circle 2019 has been unveiled. For the 6th annual trip, we’re going to experience the home of country music - Nashville, Tennessee.
